On May 14, 2014, Daniel Antonelli was honored with the Brooklyn Bar Association’s Distinguished Service Award.  Each year, the Association recognizes attorneys “For Outstanding Service on Behalf of the Brooklyn Legal Community.”  At the 2014 Annual Meeting, Brooklyn Bar President Andrew Fallek chose Daniel Antonelli as one of the honorees for his dedicated service to the legal community as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section and Co-Chair of the Computer Technology Committee.  Over the past year, Daniel has enhanced the Bar Association experience for existing members and has fostered new BBA membership through law school outreach, networking, social, and educational programs.

Rebecca Woodland, who will be inducted as President of the 2000+ member association in June, presented the award to Mr. Antonelli and three other attorneys for their outstanding service.  Also receiving service awards were Sanaa Harris, who is the Chair and founder of the Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law Committee, John Bonina of medical malpractice firm Bonina & Bonina, and Jeannie Costello, who is the retiring long-time Executive Director of the Volunteer Lawyer Project.
