On September 30, 2013 Brooklyn Bar Association President, Andrew Fallek, appointed Daniel Antonelli as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section. After joining the Brooklyn Bar in 2009, Daniel became an active member of the Young Lawyers in addition to serving on committees such as Decedent’s Estates & Surrogate’s Court, Pro Bono, and Mentoring. The Young Lawyers Section represents a segment of the Brooklyn Bar Association dedicated to the needs of younger attorneys such as continuing legal education, mentoring, and encouraging a new generation of leadership at the Bar.
The Section sponsors regular education courses and networking events to enrich the careers of its members and plug them into the Bar Association, which serves as the gateway to the Brooklyn legal community. Along with co-Chair, Adam Kalish, Daniel seeks to capitalize on the efforts of past Chairs, Robin Goeman and Jimmy Lathrop, who reinvigorated the Young Lawyers Section over the past several years, by creating an opportunity for attorneys to develop the resources and relationships that are vital to a successful legal career.
